 Some time ago, a friend who is also the blues fans asking me to update the article about the blues. So that prompted me to write an article about the 100 greatest blues artists. Blues is a vocal flow and instrumental music that comes from the United States (U.S.). Blues leave from spiritual music and praise that came from the community of former African slaves in the United States.
The blues have a major influence on American popular music and new West, as can be seen in the flow of ragtime, jazz, bluegrass, rhythm and blues, rock and roll, hip-hop, and country, and pop songs conventional. 100 greatest blues artists are :Read 1 Comments... >> |

 History of blues music began in the 19th century. In the dark and stuffy room, in the shelter of the slaves. There was a song full of moans from terkukung feelings, which meets the American farmland atmosphere cold, arrogant and boring. Oral tradition (singing without music) of the African slaves, had gradually akulturisasi with European traditional music, and gave birth to a stream of new music, called the blues.
The name of the term blues was born blue always connoted a feeling of depression and melancholia. The late 19th century, the blues began to dominate the countryside in the south of America. New in 1910, officially adopted the term blues.Read 0 Comments... >> |

 Blowin' The Blues Away is the slogan that I use as my appreciation for the blues. Now I want to give the information to you "the blues fans" that on November 7, 2009 will be held an international blues festival titled Djarum Super Jakarta International Blues Festival at Istora Senayan, Jakarta, Indonesia.
Djarum Super Jakarta International Blues Festival will feature blues musicians and bands leading foreign and Indonesia, will perform at four stage of the first blues festival and the largest in Southeast Asia. Hopefully this blues festival can be a starting point of the blues revival that had triumphed in the era of 70s, and introducing the blues to the younger generation of Indonesia. Blues musicians who will perform in a blues festival this are :

 Sweet Little Angel is a song that was created by BB King and Jules Taub in 1956. A single from B.B. King is very popular among blues fans. B.B. King is the king of the blues of all time has created many hit songs of the blues. Besides Sweet Little Angel, there is also The Thrill is Gone, Riding with the King, hree O'Clock Blues, and much more.
BB King was born on September 16, 1925 in ITTA Bena, Mississippi, near Indianola area. Sweet Little Angel has given me an inspiration to the spirit of blogging that had lost a few days.  Entah kenapa mulai beberapa hari yang lalu Dwi lagi suka dengan lagu Blues yang satu ini "the thrill is gone". Mungkin karena suasana hati yang lagi cemas dengan beban pekerjaan. Lagu "the thrill is gone" ini ditulis oleh Rick Darnell dan Roy Hawkins pada tahun 1951 dan dipopulerkan oleh BB King tahun 1970. Lagu pertama kali direkam oleh Hawkins dan menjadi minor hit untuk para musisi. BB King merekam versi lagu ini pada pada bulan Juni 1969 untuk album Completely Well, dirilis pada tahun yang sama.
Di tangan BB King lagu ini begitu populer dari pada versi sebelumnya, dengan polesan gitar BB King yang begitu menyayat hati lagu "the thrill is gone" menjadi menjadi lagu hit terbesar BB King sepanjang kariernya (#3 R&B / Pop #15). BB King berhasil meraih Grammy Award untuk Best Male R & B Vocal Performance dan Grammy Hall of Fame Award pada tahun 1998. "The thrill is gone" versi BB King juga ditempatkan di nomor 183 pada majalah Rolling Stone dari daftar 500 lagu terbesar sepanjang sejarah. Versi live lagu ini juga disertakan pada album BB King "Live in Cook County Jail" (1971), Bobby Bland and BB King Together Again...Live (1976), dan Live at San Quentin (1991). BB King sampai sekarang masih eksis di jalur musik blues dan telah mencetak banyak hit untuk lagu-lagu blues, sehingga sangat pantas jika disebut sebagai “King of the Blues” Sepanjang Masa.
